Blackberry Smoke Releases Compilation Album in Memory of Brit Turner
Blackberry Smoke is set to release a new compilation titled Rattle, Ramble & Roll: The Best of Blackberry Smoke ? Volume One on November 14, 2025, as a tribute to their late founding drummer, Brit Turner, who passed away in March 2024 after battling glioblastoma. The band has a long history of supporting cancer awareness, having established the Brit Turner Family Fund to combat childhood cancer following the diagnosis of Turner?s daughter in 2009. This compilation celebrates both Turner?s legacy and the band?s upcoming 25th anniversary in 2026. It features 22 tracks, including fan favorites like ?Waiting For The Thunder? and ?The Whippoorwill,? along with two previously unreleased songs, ?We Got Company? and ?Southern Child (Live).? Frontman Charlie Starr expressed that the collection reflects the essence of Blackberry Smoke and serves as a heartfelt homage to Turner, thanking fans for their support over the years as they look back on their journey together.
